David Fargnoli, of Whitehouse Station, New Jersey and Naples, Florida passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on January 23, 2022.
He graduated from Seton hall University and worked for the New Jersey Judiciary as a probation officer and internal supervision specialist, retiring in 1999. Dave was an accomplished, avid golfer and a fixture at Stanton Ridge Country Club, where he walked his daily 18 holes for many years. He was a loyal Giants and Yankee fan, cheering them on and cursing the teams in equal measure. He was a loving father and grandpa, and delighted in the accomplishments of his grandchildren with the assistance of FaceTime. Among his longtime friends, who he deeply cherished, Dave was famous for his ability to recall long forgotten events. As a good friend commented recently, “Dave had a story for everything, and everyone has a story about Dave”. Those that knew him best would share that he was an extremely generous man in every way, and the most loyal of friends.
Beloved husband of Lori Fargnoli, devoted father of Sara Schinnerer and her husband Jeff, Christopher David and his wife Alicia, and Daniel Fargnoli. Cherished grandfather of Charles and Daniel, Christopher David Jr., and Gabriella, also survived by in-laws, cousins and dear friends.
