Cosimo "Gus" Thomas Marateo, 95, of East Hanover, previously of Orange, passed away on April 28, 2020. Gus was a World War II Veteran and had spent many years in the produce business working for M&M Farms and Cosimo's Market before retiring.
Beloved brother of the late Albert, Helen and Joseph Marateo (Nancy). Loving uncle of Joseph R. Marateo and his wife Vicky, Karen Marateo Rothenberger and her husband Jim. Cherished Great uncle of Christopher Joseph Marateo, Danielle Marie and Sami Rothenberger.
Funeral services held privately.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested a donation be made to the Community Food Bank of NJ.
