Charles Meier Obituary

Charles P. Meier, 93, of Florham Park, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2021. Charles served in the US Marine Corps during WWII and worked as a millworker and carpenter at Reisen Lumber Company in Union for 45 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Charles was a parishioner at Long Hill Chapel in Chatham Township and a life-time member of the Allamuchy Gun Club.

Beloved husband of 70 years to Gunda Meier. Devoted father of Bart Charles Meier, his wife Eloise, Jeff Paul Meier and his wife Shirley. Cherished grandfather of Paul, Kaitlyn and Emily. Dear brother of Donald Meier.

Pre-deceased by his parents and several siblings.

Funeral services held privately to the family.
