Catherine (Battaglia) Notte, 86, of Short Hills, passed away peacefully on at her home on January 22, 2023. Catherine was born in Newark, NJ. She attended Marjorie Webster Junior College in Silver Springs, MD, where she received her degree in Kindergarten and Nursery School Education. After she graduated, she started teaching special needs children in South Orange for several years until she met her soul mate and got married. They were married for 60 years.
She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband Robert Notte, her parents Carmen and Grace Battaglia, and her loving Yorkie, Martini.
Catherine was survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and devoted caregivers.
The committal prayer service and entombment will be held on Friday, January 26, 2023, 11am at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery Mausoleum.
