Carmine Fischetti Obituary

Carmine M. Fischetti, 71, of East Hanover, NJ, formerly of Brooklyn, NY, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2020.  Carmine worked as a Senior Engineer with Verizon and then became a Project Manager at NYU before retiring.  He was a member and Past Grand Knight of the East Hanover Knights of Columbus, Past President of the New Jersey Association of Engineered Energy, Catechism Teacher at St. Rose of Lima Church in East Hanover, Cub Scout Event Coordinator, Coordinated Jr. Girl Scout Father Daughter Dinner and Recreational Volleyball & Swimming.   

Beloved husband of 33 years to Eileen M. (Hilberg) Fischetti.  Devoted father of Robert Michael Fischetti and Mary Eileen Fischetti.  Dear brother of Anthony Fischetti, Mary Lisica and her husband Vincent.  Brother-in-law of Mary Dwyer, Maureen Longenecker, her husband Roger, Howard Hilberg and his wife Ann.  He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Carmine is pre-deceased by his parents Michael & Christine Fischetti.

Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, 210 Ridgedale Ave., Florham Park on Monday form 11:30am – 1:30pm followed by the entombment at Restland Memorial Park in East Hanover at 2pm. 

Do to the COVID-19 Pandemic, visitors are required to wear a mask and practice social distancing.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Carmine’s name to:  Palliative Care at Morristown Memorial Hospital, 100 Madison Ave., Morristown, NJ 07960.
