Bruno Amoresano

Beloved husband of 16 years to Michelle Petrie Amoresano.Devoted father of Nicole Amoresano, Michelle Amoresano and Erika Laxer.  Dear brother of Rita Pepe, her husband Jim, Nancy DePasquale and her husband Carmen.  Bruno was also survived by his future son-in-law Michael Cracco, his beloved goldendoodle Finn, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Bruno was pre-deceased by his parents Armando and Rubina Amoresano.

Bruno was a hard worker who did everything for his family. At a young age, he started working with his father as a mason then began his own construction company. Bruno and Michelle moved to Charleston SC for work and built their forever home. In Charleston, Bruno worked closely with Nazario Paragano, who is not only a close relative but a dear friend.

Bruno loved all things Italian including opera, family trips to the ancestral home, cuisine, and soccer. Bruno was also an avid NY Rangers and NY Giants fan and was fortunate to attend games for all of his favorite sports teams. 

Bruno was also the most enthusiastic Rutgers gymnastics fan, attending as many of his daughter Michelle’s meets as possible.Spending time with his daughters Nicole and Erika also brought Bruno great joy.

Aside from work and being with his family, Bruno had many hobbies. He recently began his own garden in Charleston, and the fig tree he planted many years back just recently began to grow figs for the first time.

Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Saturday from 9:30-11:30am, immediately followed by the committal prayers and entombment at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum in East Hanover.
