Bruce Zahn

Bruce Zahn, 79, of Florham Park, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2023.

Beloved husband of 46 years to Barbara (Clifford) Zahn.  Devoted father of Krista Anne Zahn-Fasold, her husband Greg, Corinne Elizabeth Filis and her husband Theo.  Cherished grandfather of Delaney and Cooper.  Loving uncle of Kim Phillips and her husband Rick.  Also survived by many dear friends, including the Cape May 4.

Bruce was pre-deceased by his parents Victor and Anna Zahn, and his brother Victor Zahn.

Bruce was born and raised in Florham Park and graduated Hanover Park High School in 1961. He worked for New Jersey Bell/ Verizon for 42 years.

Besides loving his family and pets, he loved the Jersey shore and playing beach volleyball; traveling the country by train with his brother, Vic, and Dave Tappen; cleaning his Cadillac with a toothbrush; taking care of his lawn and garden (including laying on the grass for a rest and scaring the neighbors), and cooking delicious food by never following the recipes. He was also very proud that his mom went to the Little Red School House (later featured on his favorite show, Jeopardy).

Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Sunday from 1-4pm.  Funeral on Monday, assembling at the funeral home at 9am, followed by a prayer service at the funeral home at 9:30am.  Interment at Restland Memorial Park in East Hanover.
