Barbara J Szwedo

Barbara J. Szwedo, 76, of Florham Park, passed away peacefully at her home on May 25, 2021.

Barbara grew up in Linden, NJ  before moving to Florham Park in 1975

She retired in 2015 after 40 plus years as unit secretary at Overlook Hospital. She received recognition for exemplary work performance and was awarded a commemorative plaque for a record of perfect attendance.

Barbara enjoyed spending weekends with family, from hunting that bargain treasure at a local garage sale, to taking a weekend trip to her getaway in the serene nature of the Poconos.

She had a genuine love for her furry, feathered, and finned family of dogs, cats, fish, and birds.

She will forever be loved by those whose hearts she has touched with her sense of humor that made everyone laugh, her kindness and sincerity.

Devoted mother of Sandra Rosenberger her significant other Trevor Bogert, Robert Rosenberger and his wife Manuela.  Cherished grandmother of Jason Bogert, Jayden Rosenberger and Jesse  Rosenberger.  Dear sister of Patricia Bolloskis, and predeceased brother, Joseph Szwedo

Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Tuesday from 11-1pm.  The burial will be held privately to the family.
