Barbara Regan, 82, of Livingston, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2025. She was born in Jersey City, NJ, the daughter of the late Ethel and Joseph Ferrante. Barbara resided in Union City, NJ, Ridgefield, NJ, Parkchester-Bronx, NY and Washington Township, NJ before moving to East Hanover, NJ in 1994. She graduated from St. Matthews School in Ridgefield and St. Michael’s High School in Union City.
Barbara worked for New York Life as a secretary until leaving to raise her family. She was very active in Church and social community activities in the Township of Washington during those family years. Barbara returned to work to hold several positions in retail management and finally in billing management for a local sports medicine group in Westwood, NJ. As a member of St. Rose of Lima Parish in East Hanover, NJ, she was an active member of several committees and a daily communicant at the 9am mass.
Beloved wife of 62 years to Denis Regan. Devoted mother of Donna Russo, her husband Gennaro, Michael Regan and his wife Cynthia. Cherished grandmother of Kristina Reifinger, her husband Drew, Anthony Russo, Tyler Regan, his wife Stephanie, and Christopher Regan. Proud great-grandmother of Victoria and Valentina Reifinger. Barbara was also survived by many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Tuesday, January 14th from 4-7pm. Funeral on Wednesday, assembling at the funeral home at 9am, followed by the funeral mass at St. Rose of Lima Church in E. Hanover at 10am. Entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
