Anthony Patrick Tortorello, 82, of Florham Park, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2026, surrounded by his family.
Born and raised in Newark, Anthony later made his home in Florham Park, where he built a life centered around family, friendship, and community.
Anthony was the beloved husband of Cynthia Tortorello, with whom he shared 59 wonderful years of marriage. He was a devoted father to Tracy Narag and Damon Tortorello, cherished father-in-law to Christian Narag and Michelle Tortorello, and a proud grandfather to Christian Narag, Anthony Narag, Sofia Tortorello and Marco Tortorello, all of whom brought him immense joy and pride throughout his life.
Anthony proudly served in the National Guard beginning in 1968, carrying with him a strong sense of duty, discipline, and commitment throughout his life.
He dedicated more than 40 years of his professional life as a financial advisor, building lasting relationships and earning the respect and trust of countless clients and colleagues. He retired in 2014 from Morgan Stanley, where his professionalism, wisdom, and integrity left a lasting impression.
Outside of his career, Anthony had a true passion for golf and could often be found enjoying time on the course. More importantly, he will be remembered for his steady presence, dedication to his family, warm heart, and the love he gave so freely to those around him.
Anthony’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished by his family and friends.
Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Thursday, May 14th from 4-7pm. Funeral on Friday, May 15th, assembling at the funeral home at 8:30am, followed by the funeral mass at Holy Family Church in Florham Park at 9:30am. Entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.
