Anthony M. Martucci, 81, of Parsippany, passed away peacefully at his home on May 5, 2025.
Anthony had a long career with Sprint Telecommunications and on the night of 9/11, while most people were fleeing New York City, he agreed to head in and restore cell service. He worked hard to put food on the table for his family, presents beneath the Christmas tree, and to give his wife and kids a Jersey shore vacation every summer. On weekends, he worked on his car in the driveway of their West Orange, NJ home and went around the house fixing what his kids had broken that week-mostly window screens and splintered staircase spindles. He showed up for his kids when they needed him, was calm and strong in a crisis. He told his wife he loved her every day and she along with their children and grandchildren loved him very much.
Anthony leaves behind his beloved wife of 57 years, Karen Martucci, his children, Katherine Brozyna (husband, Corey Brozyna), Cynthia Martucci Reyes (husband, Chris Reyes) and Tommy Martucci (wife, Elizabeth Aeryn Burke) grandchildren, Jake, Nolan, Lily Raine, Christopher and Sophia, brother John and sister Mary.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Vincent Martyr Roman Catholic Church in Madison on Wednesday, May 14th at 10am.
