Anthony G. Lucciola, “Tony”, 84, of East Hanover, formerly of West Orange and Montville, passed away peacefully at home on July 7, 2025.
Tony was a longtime Newark resident where he attended Barringer High School Class of 1959. After high school he served in the United States Air Force where is honorably discharged. After his service in the US Air Force, Tony met the love of his life Joan and were married for 55 years. Tony worked at PSE&G for over 56 years where he worked as a Collections Manager. Anthony's favorite hobby was playing cards. He enjoyed playing poker and his occasional visit to the casino. Tony was an avid sports fan where he rooted for the NY Giants and the NY Yankees. His favorite place was Aruba where he spent two weeks every year for over 30 years with friends.
Devoted father of Carolyn Jandoli, her husband Stephen, Tricia Carbone and her husband Anthony. Cherished grandfather of Daniella and Anthony. Dear brother of Rosemary Moraites and her husband Nick. Also survived by his sister-in-law Carol Pitetti and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Tony was pre-deceased by his wife Joan P. Lucciola of 55 years, and his parents Gerard and Mary Lucciola.
Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Thursday, July 10th from 4-7pm. Funeral on Friday, July 11th, assembling at the funeral home at 8:45am, followed by the funeral mass at St. Rose of Lima Church in East Hanover at 9:45am. Entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
