Anthony “Tony” Cordasco, 75, of East Hanover, passed away March 5, 2023, peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Anthony was an amazing man he lived an eventful and wonderful life. In his younger years he worked as a service manager for 15 years at Chief Pontiac and than owned and operated Cordasco automotive in Belleville for 25 years. For the last 5 years of his life he worked at Essex Green Sunoco then retired to spend the rest of his life with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
In his free time he enjoyed relaxing by his pool, doing yard work, crabbing, cooking, singing,playing pool, listening to the oldies, cracking jokes, watching sports, traveling to florida to his friends house and spending time with them. His main joy was teaching his family and loved one's life lessons, he always loved looking to solve problems and fix them. He helped everyone out. He touched everybody he's ever met and they loved him. He built a legacy for his name and that legacy will live on forever.
Beloved husband of 54 years to Barbara A. Cordasco. Devoted father of Anthony “Tony” Cordasco, his wife Elizabeth, and Michelle Cordasco. Cherished grandfather of Breanna and Julianna, AJ and Tayla.
Tony was pre-deceased by his parents Anthony and Louise Cordasco.
Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Wednesday from 4-7pm. Funeral on Thursday, assembling at the funeral home at 9:30am, followed by the funeral mass at St. Rose of Lima Church in East Hanover at 10:30am. Entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
