Angelo N. Tamburri, Sr., 92, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2018. Angelo was born in Newark and a long-time resident of East Hanover before moving to Rockaway. He was a US Army Veteran during WWII and graduated from Rutgers School of Pharmacy in 1958, Angelo worked many years as a pharmacist, retiring in 1989 and was a substitute teacher at Hanover Park and Whippany Park High Schools.
Beloved husband of 59 years to Rosalie A. Tamburri (Bruccoleri). Devoted father of Angelo “Choppy” Tamburri, Jr., Rosalie Roder, Robin Giamarino, her husband Michael, Rachel Petrone and her husband Fabio. Cherished grandfather of Michael, Nicholas, Maren and Eva.
Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home 210 Ridgedale Ave. Florham Park on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral on Tuesday assembling at 10am followed by a mass at St. Rose of Lima Church in East Hanover at 11am. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
