Angelina “Angie” Trezza (Bravoco), 92, of Manahawkin, formerly Vailsburg, Newark, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2022.
A pillar of strength and resilience, Angie worked for many years at Schering-Plough, rising to management, and was a pioneer, leading her family to Long Beach Island and Marco Island.
The imprint that Angelina made on the lives of everyone that knew her was indescribable. We are devastated by her passing, the void so great, because of how she lived. She loved her friends and family fiercely and tirelessly went out of her way to make them feel welcome and cared for. For decades, her home was the gathering place for her many friends and loving family, the door always open and the kitchen always full of laughter. Whether you arrived hungry or not, you left full of her delicious food, with her thoughts about the Yankees, and knowing that Angie loved you.
She will always be remembered for her bold spirit, her strength and her welcoming arms.
Devoted mother of Diane Farfalla, her husband Robert, Michael Trezza and his wife Nancy. Cherished grandmother of Jeanine Tricario, Adrienne Farfalla, her spouse Jennifer, Michael Trezza, his wife Megan, and Nicole Trezza. Proud great-grandmother of Lucca and Siena Tricario, Juniper and Leo Farfalla, and Scarlet Trezza. Dear sister of Josephine Montanino, Mary Ann Racioppi. Loving sister-in-law of Ronnie Racioppi, Beverly Bravoco Tina Bravoco, Michael & Maureen Trezza. Also survived by her grandson-in-law Mike Tricario and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Angie was pre-deceased by her husband Frank “Duke” Trezza of 67 years, her parents Michael & Fannie Bravoco, her siblings Edward Bravoco, Patricia Bravoco, Rocco Bravoco and Nicky Bravoco, her brother-in-law’s Jerry Montanino, Carmine Trezza, Augie Renna, Tony Beja and Babe Pisano, her sister-in-law’s Stephanie Bravoco, Mary Trezza, Rose Renna, Joseie Beja and Aggie Pisano.
