Addolorato Piccirilli Obituary

Addolorato “Al Costello” Piccirilli, 96, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2019.  Al was a New Jersey native. He proudly served in the US Navy before & during WWII.  Al had a successful career for many years as a singer and bandleader, under the name “Al Costello”, with his beloved late wife, Rose, as his keyboardist.   Al retired from Suburban Propane after many years.   

Beloved husband of 60 years to the late Rose Piccirilli.  Loving father of Peter Piccirilli, his wife June, Elena Hess, her husband George, Michael Piccirilli and his wife Barbara.  Devoted brother of Carmine Piccirilli, and the late Helen DePascale.  Proud grandfather of Christopher Kelly, his wife Julie, Michael R. Piccirilli, his wife Tara, and Michael G. Hess.   Also cherished by his niece Linda DePascale and many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, 210 Ridgedale Ave., Florham Park on Tuesday, May 28th from 9:30-11am, followed by the funeral mass at St. Rose of Lima Church in East Hanover at 11:30am.  Entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
