William S. Nagy (85) passed away peacefully at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville, NJ on Sunday, August 9, 2026. Born in Orange, NJ to Ernest and Rosalie (nee Dolce) Nagy, he grew up there surrounded by his loving parents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

William dedicated 43 years to his career at Automatic Switch Co., serving in a variety of positions before retiring as Manager of Computer Operations. He enjoyed travelling with his life partner, Linda, and took great pride in cheering on his grandchildren at their sporting events, attending their musical recitals, and celebrating the many special moments and milestones in their lives.

William is survived by his beloved life partner, Linda Nazar, along with his three treasured daughters: Debra Santangelo (Robert), Michele Steets, and Stacie DeLorenzo (Marc), Linda's loving children, Lisa Goldman (David), Sara Goodman (Ben), and Josh Nazar (Marissa), his grandchildren: Nicholas Santangelo, Daniel Santangelo (Josie),  Matthew  Santangelo (Dina), Natalie Santangelo, Michael Steets, Justin Steets (Monica),  Anthony Steets and fiancée, Niyati, Julia (nee DeLorenzo)  Levine (Ryan), and Thomas  DeLorenzo, Rudy Goldman, Louis Goldman, Gabriella Goodman,  Jonah Goodman, Hannah Nazar, and  Harrison Nazar, great-grandson, Henry Steets, as well as his many cousins and dear friends.

William is predeceased by his parents, Ernest Nagy and Rosalie (nee Dolce) Esposito, stepfather, Tony Esposito, and son-in-law, Brian Steets.

Funeral services were held privately for the family.
