Vitina Bravoco

Vitina (Truncale) Bravoco, 90, of Manahawkin, formerly of Basking Ridge, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2026. Vitina was born on January 25, 1936, in Linden, NJ to the late Charles and Mamie Truncale.

Vitina devoted more than 20 years of her career to AT&T, where she proudly spent most of her career working in the International Services Department.

She was the beloved wife of the late Rocco J. Bravoco, with whom she shared 60 wonderful years of marriage. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and friends, who meant the world to her.

Alongside her beloved husband, Vitina participated in fundraising efforts with the Knights of Columbus and devoted her time, energy, and resources to supporting the Leukemia Foundation. Her compassion and selflessness reflected the deep love she held for others, and through her generosity and dedication, she made a meaningful and lasting difference in the lives of many.

She is survived by her five children, Michael Bravoco and his wife Marta; Rocco Bravoco Jr. and his wife Lori; Charles Bravoco, Donna Scarpone and her husband Robert; Jennifer Phillips and her husband Jack. Cherished grandmother of Michael and his partner Edith; Charles and his wife Tiffany; Lauren and her partner Donnie; Rocco III. and his wife Kerry; Joseph and his wife Olivia; Sarah and her husband Zev; Benjamin; Devinne and her fiancé Matthew, Collin, Robert, Daniel, Andrew, Allysa and her husband Michael. Proud great-grandmother of Nicolas, Isabel, Ronin and Nimixnima. Dear sister of Geraldine Palmieri and her husband Vincent; Charles Truncale and his wife Sheila; Marion McGrann and her husband Gary. Also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Vitina was predeceased by her husband Rocco J. Bravoco and her siblings Rose, Michael, and Robert.

Vitina’s Life Celebration will include a visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Monday, September 21st from 9-11am, followed by the funeral mass at Holy Family Church in Florham Park at 11:30am. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Leukemia Society or Dementia Society of America.
