Vincent G. Owens, 68, of Florham Park, passed away peacefully at his home on October 3, 2020.  Vinny was the owner/operator of Vincent Owens Excavating, LLC.  He well known and loved throughout the town, where he was often seen at the FP Diner, Thirsty Turtle and Nonna's.  Known to his grandchildren as "Pop Pop Vinny", his greatest joy was spending as much time with them as possible.

Beloved husband of 46 years to Linda Owens.  Devoted father of Tracy DeSena, her husband Thomas, Brian Owens, Amber Owens and her boyfriend Mike Paris.  Proud grandfather of Dylan, Nicholas & Grace DeSena, Nicole & Vincent Owens, Mikey & Mila Paris.  Dear brother of Debbie Bobenko and Billy Owens.  Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Vinny was pre-deceased by his parents Gladys & Vincent Owens.

Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Ave., Florham Park on Tuesday from 4-8pm.  The funeral mass is on Wednesday, 10am at Holy Family Church in Florham Park followed by the interment at Restland Memorial Park in East Hanover.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and occupancy limitations, visitors are asked to pay their respects and then immediately exit in order to allow others the opportunity to enter the building.  Visitors are also required to wear a mask and practice social distancing.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Vinny's name to your favorite charity.
