Thomas Anthony Verna, 88, passed away on Monday, April 13th after a short illness.

Born and raised in Irvington, NJ he moved to Nutley in the 1950's.  A Graduate of Irvington High School, he began his printing career while still a teenager.  Tom was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the Army with the Heavy Artillery Division.  He was employed as the Composition Room Supervisor at the International Ticket Company in Newark, NJ for many years.  He also maintained his own Print Shop, "The Mt. Vernon Press", specializing in wedding invitations, business stationery, and special projects for charitable organizations.

Tom was devoted to his family.   He is predeceased by his beloved wife of 61 years, Doris.  He was a loving Father to Sr. Dorothy Verna, CSJP, Theresa Blauvelt (Kenneth), and Kathleen Gluck (Michael), as well as a loving Grandfather to Michael Ryan Blauvelt.  He is also survived by his Sister, Amelia Palazzo of North Carolina.
