Teresa (Rubinetti) Brown, 73, of East Hanover, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2021.
Devoted mother of Sean, Margaret, her husband Dan Kaufman, Frank, his wife Nicole, Peter and his wife Carla. Cherished grandmother of Natalia, Vincent and Adriana, Marcello and Marabella, Madeleine and Sophia. Dear sister of Joe Rubinetti. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends, especially her beloved companion, Tony Scarpa.
Teresa is pre-deceased by her husband of 48 years, Richard "Mickey" Brown, her parents Pietro and Margherita Rubinetti, and her brothers Gerry and Frank Rubinetti.
Teresa took great pride in her calling as a mother. She deeply cherished spending time with her family, particularly with her precious grandchildren. Cooking Sunday dinners for them and anyone else that stopped by was her passion.
Teresa also took great pride in her work. She held various roles at CCG in West Caldwell for over 35 years, most recently as an Account Coordinator. Teresa also spent 20 years as a hostess at Godfather in East Hanover. She loved both of her jobs and cultivated life-long friendships at each.
In addition to cooking and baking for her family and friends, Teresa enjoyed spending her summers down at the Jersey Shore. She had a deep devotion to her Catholic faith and attended Sunday mass religiously.
Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Tuesday from 4-8pm. Funeral on Wednesday assembling at the funeral home at 10am followed by the funeral mass at St. Rose of Lima Church in East Hanover at 11am.
