Sabino Guanci, 86, of East Hanover for the past 44 years passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on July 15, 2021

Sabino  was born in Manocalzati province Avellino on May 15, 1935. His family immigrated to America in 1954 and settled in city of Newark. His true passion was working on automobiles. In 1972 he purchased an Esso Gas Station in Bloomfield and became a successful business owner for over 40 years with his brothers Nicola and Lorenzo. In 1961 Sabino married the love of his life Angela.  They later moved to East Hanover in 1977 where they raised their 3 children. Sabino retired in 2008 and enjoyed taking day trips to the Jersey shore. He was an avid wine maker and enjoyed tending to his garden. His true passion later in life was spending time with his family.

Beloved husband of 60 years to Angela ( Brigandi) Guanci. Devoted father of Maria Puchik, Antonette Prudente and her husband Frank, Gerry Guanci and his wife Paulette.Cherished grandfather of Jeffrey , Laura, Vincent, Francesca, Gianna, Anthony, Samuel and Nicholas. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Sunday from 1-5pm. Funeral on Monday assembling at funeral home at 10:15am followed by the funeral mass at St. Rose of Lima Church in East Hanover at 11:15am.

Entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
