Robert "Rob" W. Martzen, 54 passed away peacefully at his home in East Hanover, NJ in the early morning of September 19, 2023. Rob was born on May 20, 1969 to Albert and Lorraine Martzen. He spent most of his childhood in West Orange, NJ and later moved to East Hanover, NJ, where he would raise his children and begin his career as a HVAC business owner.

Though a quiet man, Rob had a love for life. He often spoke about living in the moment and enjoying the small things life had to offer. Everyone who knew Rob, knew he was a big man with a kind heart. He would give the shirt off of his back to anyone, whether it was to a family member or a complete stranger- he helped anyone that came his way, expecting nothing in return. Rob was a hard worker and loved doing what he did. But most of all, his love for his two children never went unnoticed. Whenever someone mentioned his children, he beamed with pride and his face lit up.

Devoted father of Maya and Gerard Martzen. Brother to Kelly Martzen and her children, Courtney, Anthony, Jasmine,and David, Albert Martzen, and Valerie (Martzen) Kurek and her husband Jason and their children Jaiden and Hailey. He is also the loving uncle to Anthony, Nicholas, Noah, and Dylan. He is predeceased to his parents Albert and Lorraine Martzen. He was married to Geralyn Martzen who is predeceased.

For those who wish to pay their last respect, a memorial service will be held in honor of Rob on Saturday, October 28, at 12:00 noon at the St. Rose of Lima Church, 316 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ.
