Nicholas J. Rello, Jr., 46, of South Padre, Tx, formerly of East Hanover, NJ, passed away on June 27, 2023.

Nick will be remembered for many things. He was a natural born sportsman—hunting, fishing, and everything in between. As a graduate of Hanover Park High School, Nick loved playing all sports and being part of a team, but where he shined the most was on the wrestling mat. Later on, Nicky pursued a career in fishing down in South Texas, where he worked hard to obtain his Captain's license and operated many boats in his time there. He always adored his grandparents, his parents, and his two sisters, and was as loyal as can be to his friends. Nicky will be missed by many, but will live on in all of our hearts.

Beloved son of Roseann and Nicholas J. Rello, Sr.  Dear brother of Krista Abdy, her husband George, Andrea Battista and her husband Sam.  Loving uncle of George Abdy, Jude Abdy, and Angelica Battista.  Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The funeral mass will be held at St. Rose of Lima Church in East Hanover on Monday at 11am.  Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, followed by the repast at the Hanover Manor in East Hanover.
