Margaret Ilacqua (Perillo), 92, passed away peacefully at her daughters home in Florida on March 4, 2021.  Margaret was born in Orange and resided in Maplewood, prior to retiring to Toms River.

In her early days, Margaret was employed by Good Deal Supermarket in Irvington, an Executive Secretary at J.L. Hammits in Union, and Durkees Foods in Maplewood until her retirement.

Margaret thoroughly enjoyed entertaining family and friends with her singing, playing the piano and ballroom dancing with her husband.  She was also a fabulous cook and baker that always wanted to make everyone happy and welcomed to her home.

Beloved wife of 70 years to the late Anthony Ilacqua.  Devoted mother of Frank Ilacqua, his wife Diane, Valerie Glennon and her husband Thomas. Cherished grandmother of Anthony Ilacqua, his wife Colleen, Frank Ilacqua and his wife Fabiane.  Proud great-grandmother of Riley, Dominick, Olivia and Giuliana.  Dear sister of Elvira Cimirro.  Also survived by many loving nieces & nephews.  Pre-deceased by her parents Erminia and Cesare Perillo.

Funeral services will be held privately.
