Lucia Querques (Marucci), 89, of Parsippany, passed away peacefully at her home on November 10, 2020.  Lucia was born and raised in Alberona, Italy, before moving to New Jersey in 1959.  She worked as a seamstress for numerous years before becoming a full time homemaker, raising her children, as well as helping to raise her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Lucia loved taking care of her family and entertaining her friends with bountiful Italian meals. This included many summers at the Jersey shore in Lavalette where she joyfully hosted everyone

Beloved wife of the late Dionisio Querques.  Devoted mother of Maria Querques, Lucy Denett, her husband Paul, the late Angelo Querques and his wife Marie.  Cherished grandmother of Denise and her husband Gregg, John & Luciana, Dina Marie and her husband Eric, Daniella, Dino Angelo and Dominique.  Proud great-grandmother of Angelina, Roseann, John Tyler, Nicolette, Jeremiah, Daniel and James.  Daughter of the lates Donato & Lucia Marucci.  Dear sister of Marie Marucci and the late Anthony Marucci.  Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Ave., Florham Park on Sunday from 1-4pm.  Funeral on Monday assembling at the funeral home at 8:45am followed by the funeral mass at St. Rose of Lima Church in East Hanover at 9:45am.  Entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic and capacity limitations, visitors are asked to pay the respects and then immediately exit to make room for others to enter.  Masks are required and visitors are asked to practice social distancing when possible.
