Our beloved father, husband, grandfather and great grandfather, Joseph Dante Pizzoli of Livingston, New Jersey died on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, in Morristown Medical Center at the age 93. He was born in Brooklyn, New York and attended Straubenmuller Textile Design School. He married our beautiful mother, Dorothy, in 1950, and was then stationed in Austria in 1951 during the Korean War, where he served for two years. He was founder and president of Village Dye Works in Brooklyn, and later founded E&W Textile Processors, Inc in Haledon, New Jersey. He was a member of The Columbus Citizens Foundation in Manhattan since 1986, a non-profit philanthropic organization specializing in humanitarian and cultural activities. Our wonderful dad was intelligent, clever, handsome, successful, and excelled at any endeavor. He taught us all by his impeccable example the importance of a strong work ethic, love of family above all else, and the enjoyment of living every day to the fullest.  Most importantly, our dad taught us how to age with grace and dignity, humor and an eager excitement for each new day. Quite simply, our dad loved his life!

Beloved husband of 72 years to Dorothy Pizzoli.  Devoted father of Theresa Hendrickson, her husband Dale, Diane Pizzoli, her partner Ronald Heineman, Jospeh Dante Pizzoli, Jr and his wife Christine.  Cherished grandfather of Frederick Joseph, his fiancé Holly, Robert Danker, Joseph Pizzoli, III, his wife Christy, Alexandria Geiger and her husband Corey.  Proud great grandfather of Joseph and Bella Danker.

Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Sunday from 1-5pm.  Funeral on Monday assembling at the funeral home at 11:30am followed by the funeral mass at St. Rose of Lima Church in East Hanover at 12:30pm.  Entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.
