Joseph Savino, Jr., 77, of Bloomfield, passed away on January 11, 2022.

Joseph was raised in Bloomfield, where he graduated from Bloomfield High School. He served briefly in the Naval Construction Battalion. Joseph then got back into the family contracting business where he and his siblings have been continuing what was started by their father over 60 years ago. Joseph loved raising his kids in Essex Fells, watching them grow up, attending their baseball/softball games, he loved his trips to Florida and cruising up and down Bloomfield Avenue in his hot rod.

Joseph is survived by his former wife, Amy Miller, their children Joseph,III (and his fiancé Nicole) , and Rosie. He was the proud grandfather of Joseph Savino, IV.  Dear brother of Annette Buerkle, her husband Harry, William Savino and his wife Angela.  Loving uncle of Chicky, Barbara, Anthony, Lisa, Ryan, Alexandra and Charles.  Also survived by many great nieces & nephews, cousins and friends.

Joseph was predeceased by his parents Joseph & Rose Savino, and his siblings Roger Savino, Nancy Fairchild and her husband Joseph & his niece Diane.

Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Friday from 4-7pm.  Funeral on Saturday assembling at 10am followed by the interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover at 11am.
