Joseph Losacco, 56, of Florham Park, NJ, formerly of Staten Island, NY, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Joe was a project manager for Sinclair Homes, LLC, working alongside his brother, Steve, after having run Fire Glow Inc., the family's business of 50 years. Joe was a talented electric bass player and was a member of several bands over the years. He also built custom, handmade basses under his logo, JL Basses. Joe was an avid cook and grill master and a third generation NY Yankees fan. He loved spending time with his family and two dogs, Rosie and Harli, and vacationing with family in Italy on the Amalfi coast and in Tuscany.
Beloved husband of 23 years to Debbie Losacco. Devoted father of Madison Rose Losacco and Anthony Joseph Losacco. Dear brother of Andrea Melchiorre and Steven Losacco. Brother-in-law of Lynda Gambardella, Michele Losacco, and Anthony Melchiorre. Loving uncle of Chris and Jeana, Jake, Jackie, Jessica and James, Christina, Samantha and Alexandra.
Joseph was pre-deceased by his parents Joseph and Marilyn Losacco and his nephew Andrew Gambardella.
Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Wednesday, June 24th from 4-7pm. The funeral will be held on Thursday, June 25th, meeting directly at St. Patrick Parish in Chatham for a 10am Mass. A repast will follow the funeral mass.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a gift in memory of Joe to the Melchiorre Cancer Center at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center where Joe was grateful to have been treated with compassion and where he received the best of care.
