John LaSalle, 76, of East Hanover, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family, on December 12, 2023.

John was born in Orange, NJ on May 24, 1947. He lived in Bloomfield, NJ for 40 years and resided in East Hanover for the last 5. He was employed by the New Jersey Turnpike Authority for 35 years as Captain of the Northern Division.

Devoted husband of 53 years to Patricia LaSalle.  Dear brother of James LaSalle and his wife Celia.  Loving uncle of Darren LaSalle and Kyle LaSalle.  Proud godfather of Darren LaSalle and Vincent Melillo.  Also survived by many cousins and friends.

John was pre-deceased by his parents James and Sadie LaSalle.

Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Monday from 4-7pm.  The funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, 10am at Holy Family Church in Florham Park.
