Jo-Anne Elizabeth Verrone

Jo-Anne Elizabeth Verrone (Strang), 78, of Florham Park, passed away peacefully at home on October 9, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born with a passion for nature, Jo-Anne loved plants and found great joy in gardening. For many years, she worked alongside her husband running their family sign company, where she successfully led the way in business development through her active networking with the local Chamber of Commerce. Upon retiring, Jo-Anne moved in with her son and his family, dedicating herself wholeheartedly to helping raise her grandchildren during their early years. Famously strong-willed and possessing a wonderfully wicked sense of humor, Jo-Anne kept her family laughing and on their toes until the very end. Her sharp wit, fierce devotion, and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed. Jo-Anne was predeceased by her husband, Peter Verrone, Jr.; her parents, Charles and Elizabeth Strang; and her brother, Charles Strang III.She was the devoted mother of Peter J. Verrone and his wife, Mary; cherished grandmother of Tia Verrone, and Skyler Verrone (Miyo Imai); and dear sister of Peter Strang and his wife, Gale, and Patricia Wegman and her husband, Jack. and loving sister-in-law and lifelong friend of Ann Brown. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
