Janice M. Hessels, "Nana", 75, formerly of Nutley, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on June 20, 2022.

Nana was the glue that kept her family together and her "Jannie-isms" made her family and friends laugh every day. Her favorite things were taking her granddaughters for ice cream, winning on slot machines, planning menus for family parties, learning new recipes on the Food Network, drinking orange crushes in Cape May, and going for car rides with Pop Pop. Her least favorite thing was her iPhone.

Beloved wife of 55 years to Robert E. Hessels.  Devoted mother of Bobby Hessels, his wife Debbie, Debi Hessels, Amy Hessels and her husband Carlos.  Cherished grandmother of Madison, Samantha, Danielle and Jessica, Vanessa, Desiree and Priscilla.  Great-grandmother of Lorenzo.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

A Memorial Visitation will be held at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Friday, June 24th from 3-6pm.
