James B. Gammero, 73, of Toms River, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2022.  James was an avid golfer and loved to cook.  He loved spending time with his family and friends, most especially his grandchildren.  He will be missed by all who knew him.

Devoted father of John Gammero, James Gammero, his wife Rose, and Jeanine Whitman.  Cherished grandfather of Matthew and Maria, Nicolette, James and Joey, Dean and Kenny.  Dear brother of John Gammero and the late Louie Gammero.  Loving uncle of Nick, John, Carmen, Brian and Danielle.  He is also survived by his long-time companion Lana Viola, her daughter Kim and their family.

Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Tuesday from 2-5:45pm, immediately followed by a prayer service at the funeral home.
