Gloria M. Mercadante (Preziosi), 90, of East Hanover, formerly of S. Orange, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on June 29, 2022.

Gloria was the glue that held our Family together in fact that was Gloria's nickname (GLUE). She was very devoted to our dad and always took great care of him during his illness. She was a kind and compassionate Wife and Mother. Everyone who knew her always commented on how sweet she was. Gloria's very special traits were Love, Kindness, Compassion, and the best Italian Cook ever.

Devoted mother of Vi and Steve Rella, Sam Mercadante, Toni Johnston and her husband Doug.  Cherished grandmother of Nick and Lindsay Rella, Nicole Mercadante, her fiancé Rubin, Sammy Mercadante, his wife Jasmine, Kristin and her husband Andy Trodden.  And Great-grandson Clayton. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Gloria was pre-deceased by her husband Carmen Mercadante, Jr., her parents Samuel & Rose Preziosi, and was the last surviving of 8 siblings.

Funeral services were held privately.
