Gerard Apruzzese, 75, fell asleep with the Lord on February 13, 2022.

Gerard was born in Gallinaro, Frosinone, Italy in 1946.  In 1958, he came to the United States and grew up in Jersey City, NJ.  In 1968, he graduated from Dickinson High School.  That same year, he was recruited into the US Army & served in the Vietnam War.  After his time serving our country, he became and Electrical Technician where he worked for several companies that spanned over 30 years.  He then retired in 2007 and moved to South Carolina with his wife Joan.

Beloved husband of Joan Apruzzese.  Devoted father of Paul Gerard Apruzzese and his wife Stefanie.  Cherished grandfather of Juliana and Sofia.  Dear brother of Antoinette Cain, her husband Don, Maria Johnson and her husband Joseph.  Loving uncle of Chris Cain and Laura Johnson. Gerard is pre-deceased by his former wife Linda Apruzzese, his parents Paolo Gerardo and Loreta Apruzzese, and his nephew Jay Johnson.

Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Friday from 3-7pm.  Funeral on Saturday assembling at the funeral home at 8:45am followed by the funeral mass at St. Rose of Lima Church in East Hanover at 9:45am.  Entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
