Obituary

Frank C. Ferrise, 92, of Florham Park, NJ, formerly of Orange, NJ, passed away on April 15, 2020 peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Frank grew up in Newark and enlisted in the US Navy during WWII in 1944 and was honorably discharged in 1946.  He worked as a fuel oil salesman for many years.  He then worked part-time at Giants Stadium as an Usher for over 20 years.  Frank continued to work well into his 80s and enjoyed every job he had.   He was a member of the Seton Hall Prep Fathers Club and a Vice President of the Orange Little League Baseball.  Frank was an avid New York Rangers fan and a fan of the original Brooklyn Dodgers.  Frank was fortunate enough to have travelled to many countries such as Italy, Egypt and Israel.  Frank was a devout Catholic and his faith was very important to him during his lifetime.  He was a faithful parishioner of Holy Family Church in Florham Park.

Frank is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Sandra (nee Simonetti) Ferrise. Devoted father of Michael Ferrise, his wife Nina, daughter Christina D'Apolito and her husband Paul. Loving grandfather of Amanda and Anthony Ferrise, and Michael D'Apolito. Dear brother of Anne Pecoraro and brother in law to Gino Simonetti.  He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Donations may be made to Seton Hall Prep Fathers Club or to a Charity of your choice.
