Obituary

Enzo Marrano, 81, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Picarelli, a province of Avellino, Italy, Enzo immigrated to the United States as a teenager and proudly became a U.S. citizen in the early 1980s. He dedicated over 40 years of his career to Spiniello, where he worked as a foreman, traveling across the country and earning the respect of his colleagues.

Enzo began his family in Orange, NJ, and in 1978, moved to East Hanover. In retirement, he settled in Toms River, where he found joy in the simple pleasures of life at the Jersey Shore. You would often find Enzo sitting on a bench at the Seaside Heights boardwalk watching people stroll by. He was a proud member of the Christopher Columbus Day Parade Committee.

Enzo found his greatest joy in visits from family – enjoying boat rides, backyard barbecues, and afternoons spent swimming in the pool. In his younger years, he loved racing and had a particular fondness for his Barracuda. That passion continued throughout his life, as he remained an avid fan of soccer, wrestling, and car racing. Enzo left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Devoted father of Natalie Castaneda, her husband Gino, Daniella D'Andrea, her husband Andy, Marisa Jones, her husband Matthew, Enzo Marrano, Jr., his wife Jennifer, Salvatore Marrano and his wife Samantha.  Cherished grandfather of Rachel, Savannah, Owen, Sophia, Dawson, Nadia, Georgia, Luca and Hadley. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, his companion Lina, and the mother of his children, Lana.

Enzo was pre-deceased by his parents Carmine and Natalina, his granddaughter Kayla, and his brothers Modestino and Mario.
