Edward A. Kmon, 82, of Toms River, passed away peacefully at his home on March 22, 2020.  Edward was a US Marine Veteran and worked as a Business Agent with the Painters Local 1310 before becoming the Assistant Manager at Shoprite in Millburn.

Beloved husband of the late Marie T. Fierro-Kmon.  Step-father of Theresa Gonnella, her husband John A., Phyllis Salton and her husband Alan E.  Step-grandfather of Christopher Gonnella, his wife Sharon, Allison Conte, her husband Sal, Rachel Graci, her husband Gian Angelo, Justin Salton, his wife Laura, and Steven Salton.  Step-great grandfather of Matteo & Isabella Conte, John & Michael Gonnella, Mia, Cami & Kennedy Salton.  He is also survived by his brother-in-law Tommy Kempczynski, his niece Kimberly DelVecchio, his grand-nephew David DelVecchio, his grand-niece Veronica DelVecchio, his devoted friend Doug MacKenzie and his caregiver Danielle Lazarou.  Edward is pre-deceased by his parents Edward & Dorothy Kmon, his sister Dorothy Ann Kempczynski, his brother Joseph Kmon and his wife Patricia Kmon.

Funeral services were handled privately.
