Carmela E. Testa, 97, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2023.

Carmela was born in Orange New Jersey, and raised in Italy. She worked in Orange as a seamstress for many years, finally settling down in Livingston. She found the purest joy in raising her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Carmela enjoyed gardening, cooking, making homemade wine and tomate sauce. She was absolutely devoted to her family and making others happy.

Devoted mother of Anna Hilberg, her husband Howard, Jr., Giovanni Testa and his fiancé Josephine Maltese.  Cherished grandmother of Howard, III, his wife Jaime, Carla her husband Ronnie, Kevin and his wife Ashley.  Proud great-grandmother of Dylan, Jake and Chace.  Dear sister of Rose, Anthony, Lucia and Cristina.  Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Carmela was pre-deceased by her husband Marino of 69 years, her parents Saboto and Elisa, and her siblings Benjamino, Clorida, Virgil, Maria and her grandson Marino.

Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Sunday from 1-4pm.  Funeral on Monday, assembling at the funeral home at 9am, followed by the funeral mass at St. Rose of Lima Church in East Hanover at 10am.  Entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
