Obituary

Arthur Miller, Sr., 72, of North Caldwell, formerly of West Orange, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, Arthur built a life defined by hard work, generosity, and an unwavering devotion to his family and community. His greatest passion was landscape architecture, a career that reflected both his creativity and his love of the outdoors. As the proud owner of Orange Garden Supply, Arthur spent decades helping customers, friends, and neighbors bring beauty to their homes and gardens. His knowledge, craftsmanship, and genuine care for people earned him the respect and admiration of countless individuals. Arthur was a loyal friend to many, an incredible neighbor, and someone people could always count on. Whether offering advice, lending a helping hand, or simply taking the time to listen, he made everyone around him feel valued. His kindness, warmth, generosity, and quiet strength left a lasting impression on all who knew him, and his legacy will live on through the many lives he touched.

Above all else, Arthur's greatest joy was his family. He was the beloved husband of 51 years to Debbie Miller. He leaves behind his devoted children, Arthur Miller Jr. and his wife, Alysse; Mattie Miller and his wife, Bridget; Jonathan Miller and his wife, Jennifer; and Jennifer Caldwell and her husband, Kevin. He was the beloved grandfather of Ava Marie, Alaina Marie, Matthew Arthur, Lila Rose, and Natalie Mary Miller. He was also blessed with his newest grandchild, Kevin Arthur Caldwell, who will come to know his grandfather through the love, memories, and stories lovingly shared by family and friends for generations to come.

He was the dear brother of Lorraine Juliano and her husband, Robert, and Cindy Zanfini and her husband, Ray. He is also survived by many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends, who will forever cherish his loyalty, selflessness, and unwavering love.

Arthur was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Elaine Miller; his father-in-law, Leonard Bruno; and his mother-in-law, Mary Bruno.
