Anthony J. Carpiniello, 88, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2022.  Anthony was a long-time resident of South Orange and spent his summers in Lavallette.  He was a US Army Veteran and Graduate of Upsala College before earning his Master's at Seton Hall University.  Anthony went on to be an Elementary Teacher with the Newark School Systems for many years before retiring.  He was an active member and past president of the Disabled American Veterans and Past President of the Unico National in Maplewood.  Anthony was a proud American and loved to spend time with his loving family.

Anthony was survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Thursday from 10am-12pm, followed by a prayer service at 12pm.  Interment to immediately follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.
