Annita Civetta, 91, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2020.  Annita was born and raised in Italy before coming to New Jersey with her husband as a seamstress.  She lived in Newark for many years before moving to East Hanover and Lavallette.  She was well known for her skills in the kitchen making homemade pasta and Italian specialties. She enjoyed hosting her family and friends for holidays and celebrations.

Beloved wife of 58 years to the late Marcello Civetta.  Devoted mother of Angela Canfora, Vincent Civetta and his wife Shannon.  Cherished grandmother of Michael, his wife Jenna, Nicholas and Christopher.  Proud great-grandmother of Michaela.  Dear sister-in-law of Bruno Civetta and his wife Agata.  Annita was the last surviving of 6 siblings.
