Obituary

Annette V. Sullivan, 83,  a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 11, 1941, to Dominick and Elizabeth Vivo, who predeceased her.

A dedicated educator, Annette spent 40 years teaching in Jersey City, North Arlington, and at Holy Family School in Florham Park before retiring in 2006. Her passion for teaching and her commitment to her students left a lasting impact on many lives.

She was predeceased by her cherished husband, Roger, in 2018. Annette is survived by her two adoring children, Lisa Typrowicz and her husband Todd, and Mark Sullivan and his wife Peggy. She was a proud and loving "Nanny" to her grandchildren, Taylor, Nicholas, and Victoria.

As a sister, Annette was deeply loved by Teresa and Bob Kucenski. She was also a devoted aunt to Michele and her husband Bob Fiondella, Melissa and her husband Chris Bell, and Rob Kucenski, and she enjoyed a close relationship with her many nieces and nephews.  Her family was the center of her universe.

In addition to her family, Annette had many dear friends who brought joy to her life. She cherished the bonds she created and the memories they made together.

Her love, warmth, and devotion will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Wednesday, October 16th from 4-7pm.  Funeral on Thursday, October 17th, assembling at the funeral home at 9:30am, followed by the funeral mass at Holy Family Church in Florham Park at 10:30am.  Entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.
