Angela George

Angela George, (Colello), 88, of Mountain Lakes, formerly of Parsippany, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2026. Angela was born on April 24, 1938, in Newark, N.J., to the late Matthew and Rose Colello.

Angela was the beloved wife of the late Anthony C. George, with whom she shared 62 wonderful years of marriage. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, who meant the world to her.

Devoted mother of Toni Ann George, Karen Cornelius, and her husband, Bob. Cherished grandmother of Erica and her husband Paul, Marissa, and Krista, Michael, and Katie. All of whom brought endless love, joy, and laughter into her life.

She is survived by her dear brothers, Matthew, his wife Valerie, and Ronnie. Along with many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Angela was predeceased by her beloved husband, Anthony; her parents, Matthew and Rose; and her sister-in-law, Toni—all of whom she missed dearly.

Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park, on Friday, September 25th, from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Funeral on Saturday, assembling at the funeral home at 8:45 am, followed by the funeral Mass at St. Rose of Lima Church in East Hanover at 9:45 am. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Angela’s name to the American Diabetes Association, supporting research and resources for those affected by this disease.
