Albert D. Luisi, 91, of East Hanover, passed away on September 18, 2023. Albert was a resident of East Hanover for more than 60 yrs, where he served on the East Hanover planning board. He enjoyed a long career as an engineer with Atlantic Design Company of Newark NJ designing machines for manufacturing and military projects. He was a devoted father who enjoyed skiing, running, fishing, bowling, and handball, but he was happiest most when on the dance floor, listening to live jazz or fishing on a quiet lake. Devoted father of Allan R. Luisi, his wife Lisa, Dr. Linda Luisi-Purdue, her husband Frank, and Loretta Luisi-Mitchell. Cherished grandfather of Alyssa and Zachary, Christopher and Tyler, Colin, Daniel and James.  Dear brother of William and also survived by his loving companion of many years, Donna, Albert was predeceased by his beloved wife Dolores, and his parents, Arnold and Florence. Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Saturday from 9-11am, followed by a service at the funeral home from 11-11:30am.  Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.
