Valerie A Torrisi

Valerie A. Torrisi (nee Gizzi), 65, of Whippany, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2018.  Valerie was born in Newark and  resided in Whippany. She worked for many years at Bahr Lumber and JW Pierson in East Orange. She was a graduate of Montclair University.

 Beloved wife of Joseph.  Devoted mother of  Danielle Masucci Oakill and her husband David, Donnie Masucci and his wife Christine, Joseph Torrisi Jr. and SammiGirl. Cherished grandmother of Owen, Ethan and Jacob. Dear sister of Robert Gizzi and his wife Elaine. Loving Aunt of Bobby, Michael, Dennis, and Kerry.

Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home 210 Ridgedale Ave. Florham Park on Thursday from 4-8pm.  Funeral on Friday assembling at 9 am followed by a mass at Notre Dame of  Mount Carmel in Cedar Knolls at 10 am.  Entombment  at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Charity of your Choice.
