Ronald  Bantang, 62, of Jackson, formerly Elizabeth, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on October 9, 2017. 

Ron worked at Monmouth Medical Center for many years. He enjoyed running but most of all Ron’s passion was food! He loved going out to eat with family and friends.

Beloved husband of 25 years to Mariann (Devenny). Devoted father of Lia and Ronny Bantang. Dear brother of Robert Bantang and his wife Susan. Brother-in-law of Carol Devenny, Steve and Kathy Jackson, and Steve and Paula Bernick. Nephew of Joe and Jackie Manolo. Loving uncle of Robert and Rita Bantang, Victor and Justine Leonardis, John and Rebecca Cooper, Erica Jackson , Lacey Bernick and the late David Jackson. Great uncle of Nick, Joe, Michael, Dani, Joey, Gia and Michaela. Also many dear cousins, great friends and his special dog, Reno.

Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home 210 Ridgedale Ave. Florham Park on Friday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.  Funeral Mass on Saturday at St. Aloysius Church 935 Bennetts Mills Rd in Jackson at 10:30 am.
