Richard Truzzolino

Richard Truzzolino, 79, of East Hanover, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on August 7, 2019.  Richard is a US Army Veteran and owned Truzzi’s Sandwich Shop in Fairfield for 25 years before becoming a school bus driver for Hanover Park High School for 14 years before recently retiring.  He was a member and former PGK for the East Hanover Knights of Columbus and an Usher at St. Rose of Lima Church. 

Beloved husband of 52 years to Teresa Truzzolino (De Rosa).  Devoted father of Jodi Ambrose, her husband Jack, Fred Truzzolino and his wife Kim.  Cherished grandfather of Melissa Ambrose and Isabella and Olivia Truzzolino.  Dear brother of Geri Jardim and Linda Plante.  Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and dear friends. 

Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, 210 Ridgedale Ave., Florham Park on Sunday from 12-4pm, including a wake service at 2:30pm.  Funeral on Monday assembling at 10am followed by the funeral mass at St. Rose of Lima Church in East Hanover at 11am.  Entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
