Raymond Fidalgo, Sr. Obituary

Raymond Fidalgo, Sr., 86, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on August 3, 2018.  Raymond was born and raised in Newark and resided many years in East Orange and East Hanover before moving to Whippany.  He owned and operated E. Orange Home Improvement for many years and was an active member of St. Joseph’s Church.

Beloved husband of 61 years to Anna Marie “Marie” Fidalgo (Riccardello).  Devoted father of Donna Pecci, her husband Lou, Alex Fidalgo, his wife Nancy, Diane Frost, her husband Elvin, and Raymond Fidalgo, Jr.  Cherished grandfather of Teresa, Alex Jr., Gina Marie, Billy, Elizabeth and Julia.  Great-grandfather of Dominic and Francesa.  Dear brother of Phil, Ron, the late Alexander and the late Luciano.  Also survived by his dog, Sugar, and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home 210 Ridgedale Ave. Florham Park on Sunday from 1-5pm.  Funeral on Monday assembling at 8:45am followed by a mass at St. Rose of Lima Church in East Hanover at 9:45am.  Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
