Rachelle Coan Obituary

Rachelle M. Coan, “Rae”, 68, of Ortley Beach, formerly of East Hanover, passed away suddenly at her home on January 6, 2019.  Rae worked many years at Nabisco in East Hanover before becoming a Quality Assurance Manager at Solix, Inc. in Parsippany.  She was an avid lover of animals, especially for her cats whom she took in to love and care for, but what Rae cherished most was the Jersey shore and selflessly opening up her home to share it with her beloved family and friends over the last 25 years.

Loving sister of Richard Coan, Jamie Coan, Lee DiSarno, her husband Jim, the late Vita Kinz and her husband Douglas.  Also survived by many cherished nieces, nephews and dear friends whom adored her.

Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home 210 Ridgedale Ave. Florham Park on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9pm.  Funeral on Saturday assembling at the funeral home at 8:45am followed by the funeral mass at St. Rose of Lima Church in East Hanover at 9:45am.  Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center, www.sthuberts.org.
